Call for tenders: Review of EDF’s website accessibility - updated!

Updated: 28 June.

The successful provider should provide a summary audit on the accessibility of EDF’s main website, including the front-facing website (UX, content, etc), the members’ area, and the CMS used to operate it. (using WCAG 2.2 AA or AAA when possible).

The audit would not need to be exhaustive but should:

  • Provide examples of accessibility issues – to a maximum of 20 examples.
  • Include examples of actions needed to fix issues,
  • Include examples of more accessible websites that we can benchmark against.
  • An opinion on the best course of action: develop a new website or improve the current one.
  • In addition, it is desirable that an expert would be available to discuss the results with EDF’s Management team if needed.

Timeline:

  • We expect completion of the full report by end September, and availability to discuss the results in September.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in accessibility – certification and membership in professional associations is a significant plus.
  • Should be registered in a European Union country.
  • Capacity to deliver an English language report in the allotted time.
  • Desirable: be available for a 30 minute discussion with EDF’s communication and management team.
