Marine Uldry - Human Rights Officer

Marine is covering human rights related issues affecting the rights of persons with disabilities at the EU, Council of Europe and United Nations level. Among her work: * She supports EDF members’ engagement with the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Committee of Elimination of Discrimination Against Women * She coordinates the advocacy against the draft additional protocol to the Oviedo Convention * She supports the work of EDF’s Women and Human Rights Committees

Background

Marine has previously worked at the International Disability Alliance in Geneva and the Delegation of the European Union to the United Nations in New York. She was also a research assistant of Mrs. Theresia Degener, Chair of the UN CRPD Committee, and drafted the report on the 10th year of the CRPD Committee. Before that, she studied and gained experience in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Hong Kong.
