Marine Uldry Biography

Marine joined EDF as Human Rights Policy Assistant in April 2018. She is covering human rights related issues affecting the rights of persons with disabilities, in particular work conducted at the United Nations and Council of Europe levels. She follows closely the work undertaken by the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Before joining EDF, she worked at the International Disability Alliance in Geneva and the Delegation of the European Union to the United Nations in New York. She was also a research assistant of Mrs. Theresia Degener, Chair of the UN CRPD Committee.

Marine graduated with a Master in European law from Jean Moulin University (France) and a LL.M in international law from Maastricht University (Netherlands), with parts of her studies spent at KU Leuven (Belgium) and the University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong). She wrote her master thesis on the ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities by the European Union.
