This event will contribute to the dialogue on the need for DPOs and persons with disabilities to be at the forefront of the inclusion agenda supporting efforts of international development and humanitarian actors to be inclusive, in order to do development better. (Articles 4.3, 11, 32 and 33.3). The event will include examples of how DPOs and persons with disabilities have been at the front line for ensuring the activities carried out by mainstream development and humanitarian actors meet the requirements of the CRPD and the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development and in turn contribute to a more inclusive world for persons with disabilities.
