EDF is recruiting a Policy Assistant on e-accessibility

EDF is recruiting a Policy Assistant on e-accessibility as part of its fellowship with Google. The purpose of the job will be to support the advocacy work of EDF in the area of accessibility to information and communication technologies (e-accessibility).

Main tasks

All tasks are to be implemented on the basis of decisions adopted by the Governing Bodies of the EDF and under the supervision of EDF New Technologies and Innovation officer, in the area of the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities related mainly to accessibility of information and communication technologies.

During the fellowship, you will spend time working on:

  • Research and analysis of policies affecting persons with disabilities in the EU
  • Drafting and preparation of both internal and external briefing documents and materials for EDF advocacy work on e-accessibility
  • Assisting EDF and its members in capacity building activities and campaigns
  • Performing other duties as assigned
