What?

National and international efforts have resulted in standards for a harmonized approach to implement accessibility. This workshop will present tools/standards which are currently available in diverse domains and how they can be shared and used to underpin the implementation of the UNCRPD. The critical importance and usefulness of involving persons with disabilities will be highlighted, with an emphasis on identifying gaps and good practices and measure progress. Participants will discuss the challenges to make these processes work for achieving the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders. The panelists are experts from industry, government, standardisation organisations, accessibility experts, and organisations representing persons with disabilities.
